A Security Officer Screening Clerk in Indianapolis, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This part‑time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new responsibilities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will help monitor access points, screen visitors and team members, and support loss prevention activities. The position combines customer service, communication, and security awareness to maintain a smooth operation.

• Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with site protocols and reporting guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, problem‑solving and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or policy violations in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Loss prevention experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
