Physical Security Program Manager (Wed-Sat), DC Security AMER

C. AWS Infrastructure Physical Security team is looking for a Physical Security System Project Manager and Technology Expert to lead physical security projects in data centers. This role manages data center physical security systems and projects, interprets Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to select appropriate mitigations, collaborates with AWS architectural and engineering teams to ensure data centers meet AWS physical security standards, and ensures local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources needed after implementation.

As this is a Gov Cloud region, the selected candidate requires US Citizenship or equivalent status.

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components of physical security systems.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for projects for pricing by approved vendors; review vendor quotes and submit complete and accurate vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for inclusion in project requisitions.
• Project management of multiple, concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Subject Matter Expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, and assuring operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive of project close-out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors
• Travel up to 25% of the time
• 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management
• Be able to work a Back Half Day Schedule (Wednesday-Saturday)

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
• Experience in design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services
• 3+ years' experience with design, installation, and integration of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems
• PSP, CPP, PMP Certification
• Ability to manage multiple medium and large-scale projects that are complex in nature and ability to interpret program objectives, develop project schedules and manage adherence to established timetables

The base salary range is listed below. Your package may include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
