We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This role ensures that all physical security measures are implemented, monitored, and maintained to safeguard assets, information, and personnel in accordance with DoD regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of physical security practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with security teams and government agencies to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce physical security policies, programs, and procedures.
- Conduct physical security surveys, vulnerability assessments, and recommend measures to address identified risks or security gaps.
- Oversee entry and exit control procedures, including visitor access, badging, and credentialing systems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including security officers, contractors, and facility managers, to ensure sustained security operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the building's adherence to physical security protocols; resolve vulnerabilities and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Conduct emergency preparedness training, including evacuation drills and personnel security awareness training.
- Maintain records and prepare detailed security incident reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Provide recommendations for the procurement of security hardware and recommend best practices for future upgrades to security systems.
- Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, accidents, or breaches.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably within the defense industry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create professional incident and compliance reports.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Clearance:
Interim Secret with ability to obtain secret.
