Security Officer Access Monitor – Whitestown, IN

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Wed: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and observe unusual activity.
• Communicate with site personnel, vendors, and transportation partners regarding access procedures, restricted areas, and other security‑related matters.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subjects to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Will be considered subject to criminal history review in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
