Security Officer - Access Control

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Pendleton, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. • Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Thu 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support badge, key, and/or vehicle access procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Assist with incident reporting, directional support, and communication during shifts while maintaining awareness of changing conditions in an industrial work environment.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
