Duties
* Operational programs are diverse and complex and for all Services.
* Formulates and evaluates policies and directives from higher headquarters and advises on action necessary to establish the framework of the organization policies.
* Identifies and monitors actual or potential issues that require Command decision and recommends a specific course of action that will resolve the issue or correct deficient performance.
* Provides leadership to office and directorate chiefs in determining priorities to ensure expeditious accomplishment of mission operations.
* Monitors and evaluates programs and operations to ensure plans are followed to meet objectives and goals.
* Concentrates attention upon issues, which inhibit the attainment of objectives and provides disposition of those matters not requiring the Commander's attention. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% may be required.
* This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85.
* Signing of a DA Form 5019 acknowledging periodic random drug testing requirements is mandatory prior to being placed into this position.
* In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at assigned proficiency levels.
* This position is designated Tier 5, Critical or Non-Critical Sensitive, High Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment. Qualifications Who May Apply:
