Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role in Indianapolis, IN, for a Fire Alarm Technician. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and client specifications. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving system issues, preparing detailed service reports, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Interaction with clients to explain system operations and provide exceptional service is a vital part of this role.
Qualifications- Knowledge in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Familiarity with safety standards and local codes regarding fire alarm systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical issues effectively
- Experience with basic electrical and electronic systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation
- Time management, organization, and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction
- A valid driver's license and the ability to work on-site at client locations
- Relevant certifications in fire alarm systems and electrical work are a plus
