Pay Rate: Up to $18/Hour

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Skilled Helper – PW. We are looking for someone to help with the day‑to‑day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long‑term strategy of our operations across the country. Helper – PW

Job Responsibilities
  • Move work pieces, tools and supplies manually or by truck
  • Lifts, moves, holds, or clamps work pieces to table, into jigs, or into position
  • Cleans work pieces to remove impurities
  • Connects hoses from hand torch to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders
  • Connects cables from power source to electrode holder and work pieces or fixture
  • Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces
  • Disassemble and remove damaged materials from the work area
  • Assist journeyman employees with task-related to pipe fitting
  • removes tags or marks and moves finished work
  • May attach grappling equipment to objects in preparation to be moved by crane

Experience and Requirements
  • Previous skilled helper experience in an industrial setting is preferred
  • OSHA Approved Met‑Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
  • Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen
