Job Title: Industrial Electrical Technician - Skilled

Up to $42.00 per hour, depending on experience level determined during the interview process.

Hours
: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm (Monday thru Friday);
Some On-Call hrs and Weekends

Responsibilities
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Work without supervision on daily assigned tasks.
  • Use hand tools daily; proficiency with power tools.
  • Willing to work all shifts including holidays and weekends when demanded by the job.
  • Work from elevated areas (ladders, platforms, scaffolding, and others) with fall protection as needed.
  • Work in confined spaces as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Operate and have knowledge of industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and skid loaders.
  • Adhere to the published work schedule and maintain flexibility based on workload.
  • Maintain compliance with all company & customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize industrial powered vehicles (RTFL, Forklift, Aerial Lift, Scissor Lift).
  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components and equipment including lighting, motors, inverters, soft starts, and wye-delta systems; read schematics and perform basic electrical testing and measurements; install raceway/conduit and cable trays; follow NECA 101 standards.
  • Calibrate and document functions related to Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, and Analytical Instrumentation; troubleshoot process control loops with appropriate testing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Meet performance expectations as part of performance appraisals and participate in employee development planning.
  • Maintain personal tools and keep an up-to-date personal tool list; provide required tool listing as part of employment.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job and perform tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Complete accurate and timely administrative duties, including time accounting and work order completion.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state required qualifications; ability to obtain ISA’s CCST Level 1 Certification.
  • Experience:

    5+ years of electrical and controls experience and/or 4+ years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.
  • Must have current valid driver’s license.

Occasional extreme heat/cold, wet or humid conditions; very loud noise level. The compensation range for the position is $35.70 - $42.00.
