48 Hours/ Week Up to $18/Hour

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Skilled Helper - PF. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Skilled Helper - PF

Job Responsibilities:

* Assists Pipefitter to assemble and install piping for air, ammonia, gas and water systems

* Cut or drill holes in walls to permit passage of pipes, using pneumatic drill

* May erect scaffolding

* Load, transport, unload, and furnish experienced craft worker with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies

* Perform other routine duties as directed by experienced craft person

* May assist in installation of high pressure piping and/or gas burner to convert furnaces from wood, coal, or oil

* Restock supplies and materials and clean work area

* Assist with installation of valves, couplings and other fittings

* Disassemble and remove damaged work pipe from the work area

* Assist journeyman employees with task-related to pipe fitting or welding

* Use power tools when applicable

Experience and Requirements:

* Previous skilled helper experience in an industrial setting is preferred

* OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
