Job Summary
We are seeking six motivated electricians or apprentices to support utility and telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role involves installing electrical services on utility poles within the public right-of-way (ROW) and supporting wireless/telecom equipment installations. Candidates with strong electrical fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply—we will train the right individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Install 100-amp electrical services on utility poles in the ROW
- Install and support power supply equipment, radios, and antennas
- Perform work safely at heights and in active field environments
- Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and job specifications
- Follow all safety procedures, utility standards, and company policies
- Work independently or as part of a crew to meet project schedules
- Travel as required for out-of-town assignments (70%-80%)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Electrical experience in commercial, utility, or telecommunications work preferred
- Bucket truck experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass background checks and job-specific safety training
- We are willing to train motivated candidates with the right attitude and mechanical/electrical aptitude
- On-the-job training provided for telecom and utility-specific installations
- Competitive hourly pay: $24–$40/hour
, based on experience - $150/day per diem for out-of-town work
