Experienced Technician – Expressway Ford / Mount Vernon

• Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, the mechanisms of an engine.
• In-depth knowledge of components & operational mechanisms.
• Superior knowledge of maintenance tools & repair equipment.
• Make major and minor engine repairs on vehicles.
• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles.
• Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems & other relevant electronics.
• A valid driver's license.
• Follow company protocols and OSHA safety regulations.
• Properly keep and maintain equipment, work and storage area clean at all times.
• Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing more than 25 pounds
• Regular bending, kneeling, crouching, turning and twisting
• Carrying, pushing, or pulling supplies and equipment

• Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
