Handyman Connection of Indianapolis is seeking an experienced independent contractor
. The ideal candidate is a skilled craftsman with a variety of home improvement skills to support the growth of our business. Handyman Connection is a locally owned, well‑established Home Improvement Company dedicated to excellent customer service and quality work.

Criteria for the position:

• Must be interested in being an independent contractor
• Must have a current Driver's License and insurance
• Must have tools, a work vehicle, and good references
• Must have experience in the remodeling or home repair trades
• Independent contractors must carry liability insurance and workers’ comp
• Must pass a screening process, including a background check
• Must have a smartphone and internet access

• Earn $45–$50 per hour or up to $1,800 per week, depending on skills and availability
• Paid liability insurance
• Flexible schedule: work where you want, when you want
• Professional office support – scheduling, customer support, job tracking
• Free access to a custom mobile application for scheduling and communications
• Successful marketing campaign that brings well‑qualified customers
• Branded apparel and signage

The contractor must be proficient in multiple home repair, maintenance, and remodeling tasks, and be able to bid work and deliver on it. The contractor must be able to provide written estimates and deliver customer service.

• General carpentry – rough and finish work
• Bathroom upgrades / remodels
• Kitchen refresh / remodels
• Painting interior and exterior surfaces
• Drywall repair, patching, and caulking
• Minor plumbing and minor electrical knowledge
• Flooring repair and installation
• Handyman, general home repairs and maintenance work

All candidates should be confident in the following areas:

• Excellent customer service and client relations
• Knowledge of building codes
• Material management
