** Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
** What You'll Do:
*** Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.
* Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
* Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
* Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
* Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
* Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
* Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
* Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
* Perform snow and ice removal.
* Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies. Weekend work is required as needed.
* Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.

* HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus, along with a willingness to learn and grow.
* You have hands-on experience in maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
