Location: Indianapolis
Electric Motor Mechanic job at 5 Star Recruitment. Indianapolis, IN.
Job Summary:- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test a variety of electrical/mechanical equipment (AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)
- Utilize tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurement
- Conduct failure analysis, document findings, and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassembly
- Perform in-house and on-site repairs; follow OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checks
- Requires 13 years of experience or relevant training (EASA/military)
- Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and mechanical/electrical safety practices at a skilled trades level
- Industrial Electric Motor Experience (not automotive motors)
- Motor Mechanic Experience
- Winding experience
- ISO 9001
