Supervises and oversees the maintenance and repair tasks on trucks and trailers.

• Supervises cross‑functional partners on mechanical work on trucks and trailers.
• Instructs mechanics on proper diagnosis of failures and correct repair practices.
• Maintains detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Performs inspections, services, and repairs on trailers.
• Uses specialized equipment to perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance work.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical issues on trailers and dollies.
• Tracks and maintains service information on all mechanic‑related activities.
• Prepares reports on maintenance activities and vehicle and equipment status.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide and maintain personal maintenance tools.
• Read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language to perform job tasks, including interacting with co‑workers and the public, understanding oral and written instructions, and completing documents and reports.

• Six years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Proficiency in diagnostic software.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of tools, parts, and equipment up to 100 pounds.
• Regular use of hands and arms for handling tools, reaching overhead, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to climb on, under, and around large trucks and equipment safely.
• Adequate vision (with or without correction) to read gauges, manuals, and perform detailed inspections.
• Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to detect equipment sounds and follow safety signals.

33.75–38.35 per hour, based on experience.
