Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

Location:

Indianapolis, IN, 46219– Full‑time, non‑exempt.

Reports to:

Maintenance Manager.

• Perform preventative maintenance, tile work, minor electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and wallpapering.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed and scheduled maintenance of equipment during normal working hours.
• Implement a preventative maintenance program for restaurant building and equipment, including cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, and tightening of equipment.
• Assist field service technicians when needed and identify field service issues for reporting to the maintenance director.
• Maintain records and reports of all maintenance information in an organized manner.
• Supply normal and emergency equipment repairs, directing the use of outside vendors when necessary.
• Support field operations, protect company interests, and aid in the efficient operation of restaurants.
• Work regular business hours (7AM‑4PM) with after‑hours, weekend, and night work as required.
• Be on call every other weekend and up to 20% of night work as needed.

• Reliable and self‑motivated.
• Formal HVACR education.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50pounds.
• Capacity to work under wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise.
• Ability to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent danger.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
• Two years of installation experience.
• Three years minimum of troubleshooting and repair experience.
