The Field Technician will install and troubleshoot cable service drops and outlets for residential and business customers.
Key Responsibilities- Install and secure customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
- Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair reception performance issues.
- Resolve problems from the customer’s equipment to the output of the first distribution amplifier.
- Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer’s premises.
- Proactively suggest upgrades of existing services and educate customers on new or existing equipment.
- Take on additional duties that support the company’s purpose, brand principles, and organizational values.
- Good driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state where you are applying.
- Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as needed.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to listen to customers and present solutions positively.
- Ability to work in small and confined areas; lift up to 100lbs.; work on a ladder; and work in all weather conditions.
- At least 3months of customer service or related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
