Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Bell Plumbing of Indianapolis, IN is looking to start a plumbing division to build upon our platform of loyal customers! The ideal candidate is safety conscious and mechanically inclined who is also a self-starter, organized, dependable, and possesses exceptional communication skills.

• Independently lead commercial plumbing projects from startup through completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily activities of assigned crews.
• Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and scope requirements.
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and Bell Plumbing quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, subcontractors, and customers.
• Identify and resolve complex installation, scheduling, and coordination issues.
• Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and project progress.
• Prepare projects for inspections and ensure successful outcomes.
• Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and technicians at all levels.
• Promote a positive jobsite culture focused on safety, professionalism, quality, and teamwork.
• Assist management with field recommendations, process improvements, and workforce development initiatives.
• Perform necessary tasks on all phases of plumbing by relying on experience and knowledge.
• Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in water, gas, and drainage systems according to specifications and building codes.
• Troubleshoot service issues.
• Makes decisions on all normal & complex repairs and reports major problems to/consults with management as appropriate.
• Make decisions on site, without disruption to clients and job quality.

• Required-Possession of a plumber's license
• 5-7 years of demonstrated Plumbing installation experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated knowledge of proper and safe use of tools and related equipment
• Passion and drive to explain, present, and honestly provide options to customers
• Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment
• Ability to participate for permit inspections when necessary
• Solid knowledge of all aspects of plumbing repair including leak location, tankless water heaters, water filtration, tank type water heaters, all types of plumbing fixtures, drain cleaning, and drain line replacement
• Ability to clear a motor vehicle report and pre-employment drug screen
