Mobile HVAC​/R Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to achieve efficient operating results and maximum life expectancy.
• Assure that equipment is maintained in an energy‑efficient and safe manner, reducing downtime by anticipating necessary repairs and keeping accurate records.
• Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, and related components.
• Execute preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment.
• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, grounds, and production equipment as related to assigned buildings.
• Study and become familiar with equipment and the methods required for proper use.
• Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• Submit daily P‑card receipts and update work order status in real time.
• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Availability for call‑in work and other duties as required.
• Experience utilizing CMMS (Work Order) systems (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel (preferred).
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC (preferred).
