About the Role
Pest Control Innovation/Utility Specialist responsible for performing combined aspects of pest control, exclusion services, minor construction, and TAP insulation installation. The role impacts communities by delivering safe, effective pest solutions.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections to identify pest activity and perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients.
- Install and maintain termite control systems.
- Efficiently install Thermal Acoustical Pest (TAP) insulation, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with light construction projects, including minor repairs and replacements related to pest damage.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide guidance on pest control measures.
- Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal, setting up exclusion traps and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain job‑site preparations and clean‑up, document services on production forms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations; participate in ongoing training.
- Work around animals, insects, and termites in confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, and narrow aisles.
- Operate exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications; remove animals trapped in devices.
- Use safety harnesses on rooftops for exclusion services and wildlife removal.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and maintaining balance on narrow or slippery surfaces.
- Work inside and outside in local climate; wear PPE including OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and keep equipment clean.
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
- Available to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; ability to present information internally and externally.
- Basic math skills for mixing product labels.
- Customer‑facing experience preferred.
- Required licenses or certificates as mandated by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by the employer).
Hourly: $17.00 – $23.00.
