Cintas is seeking a Fire Alarm Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. The position provides valuable work experience working alongside a technician in the service, inspection and repair of alarm systems. Our progressive training approach combines on‑the‑job training, online and classroom instruction.
You will be paired with a qualified technician for hands‑on training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. The training program provides the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Alarm Technician. Job duties will include conducting service calls, testing and inspecting systems to prescribed standards, performing on‑site emergency repairs of customers’ alarm systems and identifying non‑compliance with code.
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Experience in the Fire Protection industry
- Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical or plumbing
