Position Overview
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and instructing others on the necessary repairs associated with all plant machinery. Requires advanced technical and hands on experience. The role must demonstrate the independence to perform technical assignments from start to finish with no supervision.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must possess the advanced technical and hands on experience necessary to perform above duties. Demonstrated experience and ability with mig, stick, tig oxy‑acetylene torch along with fabrication skills. Daily use of power tools and measuring devices. Must possess proficient use of said tools. Demonstrated ability and experience with precision alignment including but not limited to drive trains, conveyors, and machine frames.
Performs mechanical press and CNC machine repairs. Use of basic to intermediate computer skills. Ability, willingness, and flexibility to work the hours necessary to repair machinery breakdowns and to meet production demands, including shifts longer than 8 hours, split shifts, and weekend shifts. Must possess self‑motivation and have experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lead crew in the absence of group leader.
Ability to follow all safety rules and precautions. Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Must have advanced technician training or mechanic apprenticeship; or 3-5 years’ experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or 5 + years as a Maintenance Mechanic.
