Installation Tech Apprentice​/Security Systems

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installation Tech Apprentice to join our security systems team in Indianapolis, IN. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in the security and technology industry. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians to learn the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems including alarms, cameras, access control, and other related equipment.

• Assist senior technicians with the installation and setup of security systems at residential and commercial locations.
• Learn to mount and configure security cameras, alarm panels, sensors, and access control devices.
• Run wiring and cabling according to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure quality service.
• Complete training and certification programs as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and technology is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
