Join our team as a Pipefitter, performing all pipe fitting work necessary to construct new or maintain and repair existing piping systems.
What you will be doing:- Lay out, fabricate, install, maintain, alter, test and diagnose trouble and repair for water, waste, gas, steam, acid, fuel, air and oil lines.
- Cut, thread, fit, align, weld, caulk and cover piping, as required, in accordance with blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
- Use all types of hand tools common to the trade, such as pipe wrenches, cutters, reamers, caulking tools, levels, etc., and equipment such as threading machines, welding and cutting torches, sewer augers, etc.
- Handle materials manually or with the aid of material handling equipment. Must be knowledgeable about the proper and safe methods to handle these materials.
- May be required to assist in the cleanup of spills of these materials.
- Able to read, interpret and work from blueprints and have a knowledge of basic math.
- In this role, may be required to work from ladders or scaffolding high above floor level and handle both liquid and solid type hazardous materials and wastes.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Basic Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development)
- Completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training
- 8 years of experience to qualify as a Journeyman Pipefitter
- Valid driver’s license
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from blueprints and have a knowledge of basic math.
