Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Perform service work including repairs, upgrades, and small installations
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Document service work, findings, and recommendations accurately
- Communicate with customers, dispatch, and service leadership regarding job status
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and electrical code requirements
- Electrical service experience preferred (commercial experience preferred)
- Journeyman license preferred (or ability to obtain, if applicable)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Full-time position. Local travel within Indiana for service work. Overtime may be required based on service needs.
