Position Overview

As a Vehicle Reconditioning Service Technician, you will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and maintenance. Your technical expertise will be used to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while providing courteous service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer vehicle concerns using current administrative and technical tools.
  • Provide respectful and courteous interactions, serving as a secondary greeter near the Service Drive.
  • Stay updated with technical publications and service systems to maintain effective performance.
  • Deliver safe and reliable vehicle service, addressing all customer concerns before recommending additional work.
  • Inspect vehicles for maintenance opportunities following local and factory guidelines.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean and in excellent condition.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach necessary documentation to repair orders.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs to enhance skills.
  • Follow workplace policies on punctuality, uniform, and professional appearance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by service management.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work within a professional service department dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions effectively.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • ASE certification demonstrating technical aptitude is required.
  • Technical or trade school degree preferred.
