Security Installer (union

Responsibilities

• Set up and program Integrated Security fire and security systems onsite with commercial customers.
• Install appropriate devices and dismantle or reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or Tyco Integrated Security.
• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials, and clean up installation debris.
• Contact customers prior to scheduled installation to verify the schedule.
• Prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of a supervisor.
• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook‑up procedures.
• Test operation of the system to the signal‑receiving center to properly establish service.
• Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required.
• Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
• May manage installation teams on larger projects and coach/mentor less experienced installers.

• Willing to join the Union.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school training is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely at all times.
• Excellent communication skills and customer‑service ability.

Pay Range: $20.21 - $26.95 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. However, we recognize that exceptional candidates may bring unique skills and experiences that exceed the typical profile.
