Diesel Mechanic (Maintenance)
Penn Tank Lines is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks. This role supports safe and efficient fleet operations through high-quality maintenance and adherence to established shop procedures. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and works effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and safety inspections following established procedures
- Repair or replace major components, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems
- Conduct test drives and make system adjustments based on performance standards
- Complete accurate and timely service documentation in accordance with company requirements
- Support overall shop operations while following safety policies and guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment reliability and uptime
