Subsidiary New Millennium Overview Steel Dynamics' New Millennium Building Systems platform is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our advanced manufacturing operations. * Primarily 3rd shift coverage
* Occasional crossover with 2nd shift as needed Responsibilities What You Will Do
* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, controls, PLCs, and motor drives in an industrial manufacturing environment
* Work with and maintain equipment such as overhead cranes, safety scanners, and light curtains
* Read and interpret schematics, ladder logic, and PLC programs
* Perform 480V three-phase wiring, low-voltage wiring, and other electrical work
* Support a strong safety culture by following all electrical and lockout/tagout procedures Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required:
* Proven electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial or manufacturing setting
* Ability to read and understand schematics and technical diagrams
* Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment
* Willingness to work night shift and occasional crossover between shifts
* Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Preferred (but not required): *
