Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical is looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our growing plumbing team. Unlike many plumbing service positions, this role focuses on residential plumbing repairs, replacements, and system upgrades. You won't spend your day running drain cleaning calls or handling sewer backups. As a Residential Service Plumber, you'll provide professional plumbing repair, maintenance, and replacement services for homeowners throughout the Indianapolis area. You'll diagnose plumbing issues, perform high-quality repairs, install new plumbing components, and educate customers on the best solutions for their home's plumbing system.

This position is ideal for plumbers who enjoy technical service work, building customer relationships, and delivering permanent solutions without the demands of high-volume drain service.

Diagnose residential plumbing issues and complete repairs on water distribution systems, fixtures, faucets, water heaters, piping, valves, and other plumbing components. Perform plumbing replacements, equipment upgrades, leak repairs, and preventative maintenance while ensuring all work meets local plumbing codes and company quality standards.

Inspect plumbing systems, identify the source of problems, and provide homeowners with honest recommendations that help improve system reliability and performance. Complete service documentation using company technology, maintain an organized service vehicle, and communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and office staff throughout the day.

We're seeking experienced residential plumbing professionals with at least two years of plumbing service experience. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills, solid knowledge of residential plumbing systems, and the ability to independently diagnose and repair plumbing equipment.

Successful candidates take pride in delivering quality workmanship, communicate clearly with homeowners, and stay organized while managing multiple service calls. A strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety practices, and customer service is essential.

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
