Vander Haag's is growing our construction equipment salvage operation in Winamac, Indiana
, and we're looking for someone who knows heavy equipment inside and out. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys turning wrenches, inspecting parts and machines, operating equipment, and helping recover quality parts from excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and other construction equipment.
As a Heavy Equipment Specialist,you'll inspect incoming equipment, determine the best way to dismantle it, identify valuable components, inventory parts, and help keep our yard organized and running efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge will help maximize parts recovery and ensure our customers receive quality components they can depend on to get them back up & running in the field.
We're looking for someone with real-world experience working on construction equipment, heavy trucks, or similar equipment. If you've spent time repairing, maintaining, or dismantling heavy iron and take pride in doing quality work, you'll fit right in.

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!
Compensation: Hourly compensation with overtime and additional bonuses available. Total hourly earnings typically range from $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (including bonuses) for qualified candidates. Base hourly compensation is dependent upon experience.
