Job Description- Installation and Assembly: Set up large water supply lines, waste drainage, commercial fixtures, and specialized equipment like industrial water heaters, boilers, and gas lines.
- Maintenance and Repair: Inspect plumbing systems routinely, clear major clogs using industrial drain machines or jetters, and fix high-pressure leaks.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret complex architectural blueprints and building plans to layout new plumbing infrastructure.
- System Testing: Test pipe systems for pressure, leaks, and functionality to meet safety standards.
- Compliance and Safety: Follow local, state, and national plumbing codes, including backflow prevention protocols.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a formal plumbing apprenticeship or technical training.
- Experience: Prefer a minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing. Knowledge of plumbing tools including but not limited to sewer augers, soldering tourches, pro press.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy tools and materials (frequently up to 50-100 lbs), stand or crouch in tight crawl spaces, work on roofs or in pits, climb ladders, ability to use lifts.
- Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, plus the ability to pass a background check and drug test.
