Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Lucas Oil Products Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our high performance manufacturing operation running safely and reliably. In this hands on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, packaging lines, and facility systems, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. You'll support setups and changeovers, document work in maintenance systems, and partner closely with production and engineering to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments to support production schedules
- Document maintenance work, parts usage, and inspection results in the CMMS or maintenance logs
- Inspect machinery, safety devices, and building systems to identify and resolve potential failures
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability and processes
- Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment and production lines
- Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and company procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area
Required Skills
- Industrial equipment troubleshooting
- Preventive and predictive maintenance
- Mechanical repair (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps)
- Basic electrical (3 phase, VFDs, controls)
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Reading schematics and technical drawings
- Welding and basic fabrication
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) familiarity (I/O, basic diagnostics)
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) use
- Safety practices including LOTO and OSHA standards
