One of our manufacturing clientsis seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support their maintenance and reliability of production equipment at its North Vernon, IN facility.
Pay Rate: $35/hr - $38/hr
Shift: 2nd shift
Responsibilities:- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize production downtime
- Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Install, assemble, and maintain machinery, motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other production equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance programs
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus
