V2X is hiring! We are looking for a Painter (2nd shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Responsibilities

Applies lacquer, rust-proofing agents, and other coatings to surfaces.
Performs special finishing techniques such as marbling and graining.
Prepares items for painting by tinting, toning, matching, blending, and mixing additives.
Paints articles using brushes and other methods.
Is required to use a spray gun.
Transfers items to and from work area.
Follows instructions provided through routings, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
Pays close attention to detail to ensure precise coating application and avoid defects.

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of accepted surface preparation and coating methods and techniques.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
May be designated according to the article painted.
