Salary Range: $44.00 To $49.00 Hourly
UNION GENERATOR TECHNICIAN
Journeyman Make $49 Per Hour + Full Union Benefits, Pension, Etc.

You’ll excel in this role if you:
- Have a first-responder mindset and remain calm under pressure
- Love working with your hands and solving mechanical challenges
- Take pride in fixing critical systems that keep businesses running
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial generators, transfer switches, and fire pump engines
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Communicate directly with clients, chief engineers, and internal teams
- Coordinate with the field service team and administrative staff
- Load, unload, and transport heavy tools and equipment (up to 130 lbs)
- Drive and maneuver trailers in varied conditions
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency, after-hours, and weekend service
- Attend company-paid continuing education and certifications
- Typical schedule is 40-60 hours per week and includes scheduled weekend work
- 5+ years of experience as a Generator Technician
- Solid hands-on knowledge of engines, motors, and electrical systems
- Technical degree or certification (preferred but not required)
- Willingness and ability to lift 130 lbs and work long hours as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
