- Install, inspect, test, and repair avionics equipment, including communication, navigation, and autopilot systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics systems with precision.
- Perform installations and modifications according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct intricate soldering on electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Use precision equipment for comprehensive maintenance and testing.
- Analyze flight test data and verify proper avionics operation without interference.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Accurately document all maintenance tasks and work performed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to share technical knowledge and best practices.
- Mentor junior technicians and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- A&P License preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with jet, turboprop, or piston aircraft maintenance in an MRO environment.
- Demonstrated experience with avionics systems and aircraft electrical repairs.
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety practices and avionics technology.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility in scheduling and ability to respond to operational demands.
- Competitive base salary of $30.00–$50.00 per hour, plus overtime and shift premiums.
