Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, test, and repair avionics equipment, including communication, navigation, and autopilot systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics systems with precision.
  • Perform installations and modifications according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct intricate soldering on electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use precision equipment for comprehensive maintenance and testing.
  • Analyze flight test data and verify proper avionics operation without interference.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Accurately document all maintenance tasks and work performed.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to share technical knowledge and best practices.
  • Mentor junior technicians and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Requirements
  • A&P License preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with jet, turboprop, or piston aircraft maintenance in an MRO environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with avionics systems and aircraft electrical repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety practices and avionics technology.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to respond to operational demands.
