Blue Crown Property Services LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Painter & Drywall Technician to help prepare and finish high-quality interior and exterior surfaces for our residential and light commercial projects.
Position SummaryThe Painter & Drywall Technician performs skilled work to repair drywall, prepare surfaces, and complete professional painting finishes. You will contribute to projects by ensuring surfaces are properly prepped, defects are corrected, and coatings are applied to achieve consistent, durable results.
This part-time, onsite role in Indianapolis, IN, is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can follow project requirements and quality standards from start to finish.
Key ResponsibilitiesRepair and patch drywall, including measuring, cutting, fitting, taping, and finishing surfaces to a smooth standard
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, priming, and addressing minor imperfections
Apply paint and coatings using appropriate techniques to achieve even coverage and clean lines
Support job completion by maintaining materials, tools, and work areas in an organized and safe condition
Follow project instructions and quality expectations to ensure consistent outcomes across assignments
Experience with drywall repair and finishing and/or painting work in a residential or commercial setting
Ability to read job requirements and follow instructions to meet established quality standards
Working knowledge of surface preparation practices for durable, professional paint results
Demonstrated attention to detail and pride in producing clean, consistent finishes
Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN, as scheduled for part-time hours
Prior experience supporting remodeling, restoration, or property maintenance projects
Familiarity with common finishing techniques such as feathering, priming, and color matching
Ability to troubleshoot minor surface issues and determine appropriate corrective steps
Strong time management skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently without sacrificing quality
Comfort working with hand tools and basic painting equipment
Hourly rate: $19 - $21
