HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Air Conditioning Unit (ACU-802) Technician to join our growing Maintenance Team in Crane, IN! In this exciting role, you’ll support the Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) Task Order, playing a key part in mission readiness and operational excellence. As an ACU-802 Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain aircraft air conditioning units to ensure peak performance and full compliance with all USN safety and regulatory standards.

Through LOGIX, you’ll contribute to critical efforts that advance the JADC2 mission, helping deliver a decisive information advantage through ISR operations and logistics support. This work directly supports the accelerated integration of innovative technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, capabilities, platforms, and equipment that are essential to mission success. • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on ACU-802 aircraft air conditioning units to include the diesel power unit
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to cooling, heating, and ventilation systems in the ACU-802 unit
• Conduct inspection and tests to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards
• Replace faulty components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, and filters
• Document all maintenance and all repair work in line with US Navy policy
• Work closely with other maintenance personnel and engineering teams to identify potential problems
• Additional duties as assigned or required

• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
• Experience in HVAC or aircraft environmental control systems
• Knowledge of electrical, control systems, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and handle over 40lbs
• Strong communications skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Clearance:
  Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

• 4+ years experience in HVAC or aircraft environmental control systems
• Diesel Technician experience
• Technical certification or Associates in HVAC or Diesel fields
• Experience repairing and maintaining the ACU-802 system within US Navy guidelines
• Certification in HVAC or EPA Section 608 certification for refrigeration handling
• Clearance:
  Possess and maintain a Secret clearance
