Midwest Floor Restore is seeking an experienced Floor Restoration Technician with a strong background in terrazzo and concrete floor restoration. Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience in grinding, honing, polishing
, and operating weighted swing machines and large planetary grinders
.

Responsibilities

• Restore terrazzo and concrete floors using grinding, honing, polishing, densifying, and sealing techniques
• Operate weighted swing machines and large planetary grinders safely and efficiently
• Select proper diamonds, tooling, and steps based on floor conditions
• Maintain consistent scratch patterns and high-quality finish results
• Repair chips, cracks, and surface imperfections
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when needed
• Travel for out‑of‑town projects (company covers travel expenses)

Qualifications

• Experience as a Terrazzo Floor Tech or Concrete Floor Tech
• Strong knowledge of grinding, honing, and polishing systems
• Proficiency with weighted swing machines and large planetary grinders
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and professional
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
