Subsidiary SDI Lafarga Copperworks Overview

Direct and execute preventative / corrective maintenance and repairs throughout the facility. Train for future shift electrician position.

• Demonstrate the highest standards of safety values and beliefs.
• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical equipment.
• Provide shift support, as necessary.
• Assist with creation and validation of SOPs, JSAs, and Lock Out Procedures.
• Train with shift personnel.
• Perform electrical tasks under supervision of an electrician.

Required

• Willingness to be promoted to shift electrician position.
• Substantial knowledge of the Cardinal Life Saving Programs.
• Previous electrical installation, controls, networking, or maintenance experience
• Must be able to read electrical prints.
• Must possess a well-defined sense of hazard awareness and recognition.
• Self-starter with ability to learn and seek guidance.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Preferred

• Formal technical education.
• Siemens PLC knowledge / experience
• Medium voltage transformers
• AC motors and AC drives
• Network fundamentals
