Help Neighbors Build Brighter Futures
At John Boner Neighborhood Centers (JBNC), we believe that meaningful employment can be life-changing. As a Career Coach, you'll work directly with neighbors to help them identify career goals, build skills, access training opportunities, and connect with employers who offer pathways to long-term economic stability. Through the Center for Working Families (CWF) initiative, you'll play a key role in helping individuals and families move toward financial success and self-sufficiency.
Aboutthe Role
The Career Coach serves as a trusted guide, advocate, and connector for neighbors seeking employment and career advancement opportunities. In this role, you'll provide one-on-one coaching, facilitate workforce readiness training, build relationships with local employers, and help create opportunities that lead to sustainable careers and economic mobility. ADay in the Life
A typical day as a Career Coach involves meeting with neighbors to discuss career goals, assess skills, and identify opportunities for employment, education, or training.
