Location: Kendallville

This is a regional position serving programs throughout Noble and Steuben Counties. Regular travel between program sites is required. Periodic meetings, trainings, and other organizational responsibilities may require reporting to the administrative office in Goshen, Indiana.

Job Summary:

The RESET (Redirecting Empowering Supporting Engaging Teens) Program Manager oversees the implementation, growth, and daily operations of RESET programming throughout Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County's eastern service area, including Noble and Steuben. This position is responsible for developing programs that meet the unique needs of each community while maintaining alignment with the organization's mission, program standards, and grant requirements.

The RESET Program Manager builds collaborative relationships with school districts, juvenile probation departments, and community partners, provides direct case management for participants within assigned counties, supervises assigned staff, and oversees Club programming that supports the social-emotional development and positive engagement of participating youth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Case Management & Participant Support
  • Provides direct case management services for RESET participants within assigned eastern counties.
  • Coordinates intervention plans with youth, families, schools, probation, and community partners.
  • Monitors participant progress, attendance, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate participant documentation and case management records.
Program Operations & Quality
  • Oversees the implementation and daily operations of RESET programming throughout assigned eastern counties.
  • Develops programming models that meet the unique needs of individual schools and communities while maintaining organizational and grant expectations.
  • Coordinates Club programming that promotes social-emotional development, relationship building, leadership development, and positive youth engagement for RESET participants.
  • Monitors program quality, attendance, reporting requirements, and participant outcomes.
  • Ensures programs are delivered safely and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Community Partnerships & Program Development
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with school districts, juvenile probation departments, and community partners.
  • Represents BGCEC in collaborative meetings, community initiatives, and juvenile justice partnerships as assigned.
  • Supports the development and expansion of RESET programming throughout Noble and Steuben Counties.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen partnerships and improve services based on community needs.
  • Collaborates with Club leadership and staff to ensure RESET participants have access to high-quality Club programming and support services.
  • Coordinates services across school districts, community agencies, and organizational departments to support participant success.
  • Works closely with the RESET Program Director to ensure consistency in program implementation while adapting services to meet local community needs.
  • Assists with program planning, implementation, and evaluation to support continuous improvement.
Organizational Leadership
  • Ensures compliance with grant requirements, organizational policies, and reporting expectations.
  • Represents BGCEC professionally within schools, community organizations, and juvenile justice systems.
  • Upholds the organization's mission, values, and culture.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk youth, juvenile justice, education, behavioral health, youth development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience providing case management, care coordination, or individualized support services preferred.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with schools, community organizations, probation, or other youth-serving agencies.
  • Knowledge of positive youth development, trauma-informed practices, restorative approaches, and youth intervention strategies.
  • Demonstrated competence working with middle school and high school youth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with youth, families, school personnel, and community partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and respond appropriately in sensitive situations.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and utilize case management and data tracking systems.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, safe driving record, and automobile insurance required.
