Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling for personal issues and group guidance for life and social skills
- Teach classroom guidance lessons on topics such as anti-bullying, empathy, and social-emotional development
- Intervene in crisis situations, including potential cases of neglect or abuse
- Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student needs, attendance, and behavior issues
- Collaborate with other students, staff, and families to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
- Bachelor’s Degree and valid licensure in Social Work OR
- Master’s Degree in Education with a valid Indiana license as a School Counselor
- Patience, empathy, and crisis‑management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
