Position: School Based Speech Language Pathologist *Up to $65/hr (W2)
Location: Indianapolis

The role of a School Based Speech Language Pathologist is to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K-12 students, supporting academic success and communication development. Working within the school setting, the pathologist collaborates with educators and families to implement individualized therapy plans. This position provides essential services that enhance student learning outcomes and foster inclusive classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess speech and language skills of students using standardized tools.

  • Diagnose communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Deliver one-to-one and group therapy sessions within classroom or therapy room settings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to plan accommodations and supports.

  • Monitor and report student progress to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and attend professional development.
