Role OverviewThe Adoption Consultant Supervisor position is charged to supervise those team members that support the agency goal of increasing the number of children that reach permanency through adoption. This position is expected to increase the number of adoptive placements of children that have unidentified adoptive homes. The Adoption Consultant Supervisor (ACS) will lead the recruitment process of adoptive families, prepare families for the placement of a special needs child, support them throughout the process, and increase support for special needs adoptions in the community.
The ACS works proactively with external and internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate steps are met through the life cycle of adoption, from recruitment to ensure children achieve permanency through adoption. The position will serve as the internal adoption Consultant to field staff by providing training and information that will help ensure that children achieve permanency through adoption.
This role is in Sullivan, Indiana, and will serve Sullivan County, and surrounding counties as needed.
SalaryThe salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.
