English Language Coordinator (Contract employee: Medical & business language assistance)
Responsibilities- Provide prompt, courteous services for English‑speaking patients worldwide, including setting and managing appointments, answering patient questions, and facilitating communication with Japanese staff.
- Translate, edit and proofread English‑language materials such as documents, webpages, test results, forms, and medical letters from Japanese to English.
- Coordinate with English‑speaking businesses to assist Oak Clinic patients with international services and maintain company contacts.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Native English proficiency.
- Business‑level Japanese PC literacy, including Google and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience providing a high level of customer service.
- Ability to maintain patience & calm.
- Self‑starter, comfortable working and managing time independently.
- Creative problem‑solver.
Salary: ¥253,000 per month.
Commuting expense allowance: ¥25,000 per month max.
Other allowances: split‑shift allowance (¥1,500), overtime and special‑work‑day pay, perfect attendance allowance.
Salary increases once per year; bonus twice per year.
Working hours:
8:30–17:30 (break 60 minutes). Regular days off: 110 per year. Paid holidays, paid time off, congratulatory leave, condolence leave.
Social insurance: health insurance, welfare pension, employment insurance, industrial accident insurance.
Work LocationOak Sumiyoshi Obstetrics & Gynecology, Tamadenishi, Nishinari‑ku, Osaka 2-7-9 (1‑minute walk from Osaka Metro Yotsubashi line “Tamade Station”; 10‑minute walk from Nankai main line “Kishinosato Tamade Station”).
