Full-Time APRN – Inpatient Substance Use Treatment

Location: Ladoga, Indiana
Schedule: 24–32 hours per week

Valcore Recover is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide medical care within our inpatient substance use treatment program in Ladoga, Indiana.

The position must include Friday and Saturday coverage, with remaining hours arranged in a flexible combination of Thursday through Tuesday. The exact schedule can be developed around the selected candidate’s availability.

Responsibilities

  • Complete admission evaluations, histories, physical examinations, and treatment orders
  • Assess and manage alcohol, opioid, benzodiazepine, and other substance withdrawal
  • Provide evidence-based medications for addiction treatment
  • Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions during admission
  • Review laboratory results and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Recognize when patients require emergency evaluation or a higher level of medical care
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, behavioral health staff, other advanced practice providers, and the Medical Director
  • Provide clear clinical handoffs and complete documentation promptly
  • Help maintain consistent clinical protocols and a compassionate, patient-centered treatment environment

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana APRN license
  • FNP-C certification required; dual FNP-C/PMHNP certification welcomed and preferred
  • Current or eligible Indiana controlled-substance registration and DEA registration
  • Prior experience treating patients with substance use disorders
  • Experience with withdrawal management and medications for addiction treatment
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to practice independently while remaining closely connected to the treatment team
  • Commitment to treating people with dignity, respect, and evidence-based care
