Description:

Resource will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining various applications and systems to support our state agencies. This role also includes operations and support activities, such as fielding and resolving customer tickets and issues.

• Application Development:
  Design, develop, and implement applications using Mule Soft APIs, Azure Data Factory, Go Anywhere Managed File Transfer services, additional cloud ETL services, data pipelines, and application development technologies.
• Software Development Lifecycle:
  Participating in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Data Pipeline Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes that collect, process, and store data from various sources.
• Data Modeling and Architecture:
  Design and implement robust data models that enable efficient data analysis and manipulation.
• System Integration:
  Integrate various systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Programming:
  Develops and codes new application software and/or make enhancements to existing application software.
• Testing:
  Tests and debugs new and existing application software, generating comprehensive unit test data, and validating test results.
• Customer Support:
  Field and resolve agency customer tickets and issues in a timely and efficient manner. Resolves customer issues with application software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Data Quality and Governance:
  Implement data quality checks, ensure data integrity, and contribute to data governance policies.
• Project Support:
  Confer with management to assist in planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of assigned areas. Assists state staff and vendors on various development projects and contributes to Agile and SDLC project management in assigned areas.
• Maintenance and Support:
  Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, data pipelines, and systems.

  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all applications, systems, and integrations.

• Compliance:
  Ensure all applications and systems comply with state policies and regulations.
• Mentorship:
  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

• Experience with Mule Soft APIs, Azure Data Factory, and Go Anywhere Managed File Transfer services.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance concepts.
• Ability to integrate multiple systems and applications for reliable data flow.
• Strong SDLC and Agile project management understanding.
• Ability to analyze and resolve customer tickets and provide effective support.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.
